SARAMONIC SR-PMIC2 STEREO CONDENSER MICROPHONE

The SR-PMIC2 from Saramonic is a compact super cardioid condenser microphone. You place the SR-PMIC2 on the hotshoe of your camera, after which you put the 3.5mm plug in your camera. The SR-PMIC2 then ensures that you record the overall ambient noise in high quality. The supplied wind cover ensures that you can also make a silent recording outside. Besides a hotshoe connector, there is also a 1/4" female thread at the bottom. The sound is captured cardioid, which means that sounds are mainly recorded from the front and a large part of the sound from behind is blocked. This makes the SR-PMIC2 extremely suitable for voice and vocal recordings. The SR-PMIC2 is a stereo microphone which means that there are two microphones in it, so that when the recording is listened to via a stereo, the difference can be heard from both sides.

Usage SR-PMIC2

You can place the SR-PMIC2 on your camera and use it to capture ambient noise. This is a condesator microphone, which ensures that sounds are recorded very smoothly and naturally, even at higher frequencies. This gives them more detail and character.also (voice) sound from a few meters away is still audible. With the 3.5mm headphone input you can listen to the sound in real time. Through the built-in button you can switch a low-cut filter on and off. The SR-PMIC2 is very suitable for studio recordings or when recording music instruments such as guitars, drums and wind instruments.
