The Fingerprint Secure hard drive uses a combination of 256-bit AES hardware encryption and biometric technology, offering complete information protection.

High level of encryption
256-bit hardware AES encryption seamlessly encrypts all data on the disk in real time. The disk meets the requirements of the GDPR, as it is 100% securely encrypted. The built-in fingerprint recognition system allows access to up to eight authorized users and one administrator who accesses the device by entering a password. The disk does not save passwords on the computer or in the volatile memory of the system, making it a much safer solution than software encryption. In addition, if you get into the wrong hands, the hard disk erases all data after repeated unsuccessful attempts to enter the password.

User-friendly
Easy to use software allows you to register up to eight users and save their fingerprints. After configuring the tray, users can lock and unlock the device simply by registering a fingerprint. Just connect the Fingerprint Secure device to your PC and gently put your finger on the sensor. If a fingerprint is recognized, a secure hard disk will be unlocked and the green LED on the device will turn on. You can also access the hard disk with the administrator password.

Wide compatibility
The drive is compatible with PC and Mac operating systems and has a USB 3.1 GEN 1 interface with a USB-C interface to provide very high data rates. The kit includes a USB-C to USB-A cable, as well as a USB-C adapter for connection to many different devices. After registering the fingerprint, the disc can also be connected to the TV, which is not possible with drives with normal encryption.

Backup software
In order to increase the level of security with the disk, Nero Backup software is provided, which allows you to easily and at any time back up all files, folders and drives on your computer or laptop. It is also possible to schedule automatic backups for a selected time, so that backups will be created regularly! Nero Backup is compatible with Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 10 (not compatible with Mac operating systems).
