AGM PVS-14 Monocular Night Vision Goggles Gen 2+

The PVS-14 from American AGM Global Vision is a high-end, lightweight Generation 2+ night vision monocular that you can use either in your hand or hands-free. Recognized worldwide for their unmatched quality, reliability and ergonomic designs, the PVS night viewers were originally developed for use by the U.S. military. The AGM PVS-14 is among the best night vision goggles available in the market and comes standard with a head mount system.

The night vision camera is equipped with a PHOTONIS Gen 2+ image intensifier tube with a cosmetic level 1. This means that there are no green 'spots' in the image and you will have a razor sharp, navy green image. It has a 26mm lens with a wide field of view of 40 degrees and focuses from 25 cm. The optical magnification is 1x, but optional optical 3x or 5x magnification lenses are available. The PVS-7 features Automatic Brightness Control (ABC) to adjust the brightness in real time to the ambient light.

Hands-free use with Goggle Kit

The AGM PVS-14 comes standard with a head mount system which is known as a goggle kit. This allows you to attach the night vision camera to your head to keep your hands free. The goggle kit features a flip-up system, which allows you to easily and safely 'flip' the night vision goggles upwards, keeping them firmly in position. The system features adjustable, comfortable headbands and a chin-protecting hood with built-in cushion.

Infrared illuminator

With an analog night vision monocular like this PVS-14, you can work without IR light for a long time. Still, sometimes it can be too dark, for example in a remote dark forest. Therefore, the device is equipped with a built-in infrared torch to be able to see even when no light is present. This IR illuminator provides a light source outside the visible spectrum, so you can observe in complete darkness without being detected. If you want to further increase the viewing distance or brightness you can use an additional IR llluminator (see optional accessories).

The AGM PVS-14 belongs to the best night vision goggles in the market and is therefore an excellent choice for any professional application or the demanding enthusiast. You can think of hunting, airsoft, tactical/MIL-SIM and security, but also for boating, survival or other forms of nature observations. It is a night vision monocular from the top segment with MIL-spec specifications (810G Military standards). The goggle kit is indispensable when you need to move fast, in harsh conditions, when you want to switch quickly between night vision and your own vision, or just when you want more viewing comfort and want to keep both hands free. With the right accessories you can also attach the unit to a helmet.

These night vision goggles are equipped with an image intensifier tube, so you cannot use the device during the day. The device will automatically turn off when there is too much light present.
