The Samyang 12mm features Samyangs nano crystal anti-reflection coating system (NCS). These improved coating provides even lower reflection factor than Samyang's UMC coatings. The NCS coating technology offers exacting process to apply anti-reflection coating more evenly on the surface of the lens. Other benefits brought by the nano crystal layer include improved light transmission, increased resistance to reflections resulting in maximum image contrast. This is applied to 2 elements in the 12mm lens.
