Designed to maximize the expandability of the Sony FX6 / FS5 / FS5 II to attach a monitor, wireless transmitter, and other accessories. Both ends of the ball head have 1/4"-20 screws with stretchable pins on one end and a positioning pin on the other end to prevent deflection while attaching the device.
