Kingston IronKey Locker+ 50 USB flash drive XTS-AES encryption for data protection and automatic USBtoCloud backup Kinston IronKey Locker+ 50 USB flash drives offer consumer-grade security with AES hardware encryption in XTS mode, including protection against BadUSB attacks through digitally signed firmware and against brute force password attacks. The LP50 memory is also TAA (Trade Agreements Act) compliant. The LP50 memory now supports the option of multiple passwords (administrator and user) in compound password or password expression mode. The compound password mode allows passwords of 6-16 characters belonging to 3 of the 4 character sets. The new password expression mode allows the entry of a PIN number, a sentence, a list of words or even a song text between 10 and 64 characters long. The administrator can enable the user's password or reset it to restore access to data. To make it easier to enter the password, an eye symbol can be enabled so that the password becomes visible, reducing the risk of typos resulting in failed login attempts. A brute force protection function locks out the user after 10 consecutive incorrect passwords are entered, and if the administrator password is entered incorrectly 10 times in a row, it cryptographically erases the memory. What's more, the built-in virtual keyboard protects passwords from software that records keystrokes (keylogger) or screen content (screenlogger). The Locker+ 50 memory has been designed with convenience in mind, so it is housed in a small metal case with a key ring clip, so you can take your data wherever you want. The LP50 memory stick also comes with an optional USBtoCloud backup feature (from ClevX) allowing access to data stored in the cloud via Google Drive, OneDrive (Microsoft), Amazon Cloud Drive, Dropbox or Box. It is easy for any user to set up the LP50 memory, as no application needs to be installed and all the necessary software and security is already in the memory.
