The Manfrotto ball heads range provides different solutions for different needs, with apayload range that goes from 2kg to 8kg.The first 3 models that we are here launching (492, 494 and 496) will substitute theprevious models, in a way that all the range will be renewed. 2 codes will feature thequick release plate (494RC2 and 496RC2), and three codes will identify the headsfeaturing a simple plate (492, 494 and 496).To these 3 heads another one will be following soon (from September end), the big498, also with quick release plates versions (498 RC2 498 RC4).The ball heads family features a completely new friction control which allows micromovements without openingclosing the head lock. The friction control is present in allmodels except the small 492 head.Please note that the locking lever is repositionable, in a way that you can place it in themost convenient position for you to handle it. This smart feature makes it easier andquicker to work with this head.Moreover, the models featuring the quick release plate, include a further safetysystem that avoids the accidental detaching of the camera from the head.These new Manfrotto heads are the ideal support for all needs!
