One of the most important improvements is a sliding plate (+- 30mm) compatible with Manfrotto and Sachtler standards, and you'll also be pleased with the quick release leg locks and travel lock for safe tripod transport. The rubber sleeves can be easily screwed on to expose the metal leg spikes for outdoor work. Comes complete with carrying bag and plate.
