This is inexpensive telescope for your first steps on night sky, which features everything what beginner could need from first telescope: equatorial mount, enough of aperture not only for planets but for first glimpse at deep sky also. This version of the 114mm Newtonian telescope offers more portability than the standard longer tube Newtonian without sacrificing power or performance. The short tube of this model has a built-in correction lens for reducing aberrations. The long focal length provides more power. The German equatorial mount features setting circles and slow motion controls on the R.A. and DEC axes. These controls will enhance your viewing experience by simplifying both locating and tracking objects. Trough this telescope you will be able to observe moon and brightest planets - Saturn, Jupiter, Venus, Mars, and also take first steps in deep sky observing. With this telescope you will be able to observe more than half of Mesier catalogue objects - star clusters, brightest galaxies and nebulae. Add an optional solar filter and you can observe activity on the sun.
