Special identification document scanner
As document scanning is increasingly important for identity verification, the P-215II has a special slot designed to scan documents and ID cards. The advanced feed mechanism makes the device quickly scan ID cards and embossed cards.

Improved image processing
Advanced technology delivers high-precision scanning up to 600 dpi. A wide range of image processing capabilities, such as automatic color detection and automatic text orientation recognition, guarantee the highest quality scanning that will be useful when creating PDF files (searchable) using OCR.

Highly functional software package
The P-215II uses ISIS and TWAIN controllers to provide easy integration into a standard imaging application. It also has a full suite of applications to help users work more efficiently. The intuitive, icon-based interface of the included CaptureOnTouch software accelerates and simplifies scanning. In turn, the fully automatic mode applies the optimal settings to each scan job. PageManager (Mac) and PaperPort (Windows) provide effective file management and file conversion tools, and with BizCard, the scanning of business cards has become even easier.

Scan directly to the cloud
With the included plug-ins, users can scan directly from CaptureOnTouch software for various cloud services, including Evernote, Google Drive ™, SharePoint, SugarSync, DropBox and OneDrive. This allows you to quickly pass information to the cloud wherever and whenever it's available.

Convenient wireless scan
Combining the P-215II with the optional Wi-Fi WU10 and the battery, you can scan anywhere. The module enables wireless scanning of documents directly to your smartphone, tablet or computer, and to share your scanner with a group of users or devices via a network server or home network router.
