Combined with its relatively high brightness, the lens offers good separation between the subject of the image and the background and allows the construction of complex, multi-plane images. A short tele, such as the APO Skopar 90 mm f2.8 will do well in portrait, product and reportage photography. Apochromatic design The APO Skopar optical system, derived from and a development of the legendary Tessar, consists of seven elements, five of which are partial anomalous dispersion glass lenses. Such an advanced construction leaves no room for doubt and allows one to forget about the existence of apochromatic aberration. Images taken with the APO Skopara 90 mm are sharp, full of detail and colour. Smooth control of light The APO Skopar 90mm aperture offers an adjustable setting range from f2.8 to f22, providing freedom when working with depth of field. The aperture value can be adjusted in 12 EV increments. The unique shape of the 10 blades that make up the aperture allows for a perfectly circular aperture at selected values of f2.8, f4.0 and f22, giving out-of-focus subjects extremely pleasing, perfectly round blurs. The entire barrel is made of metal, so the lens will maintain its accuracy for many years. The setting rings move velvety smooth, but with the necessary resistance for precise work. Bayonet Leica M The lens is equipped with a Leica M type bayonet, designed for Leica and Voigtlander rangefinder cameras. Using the appropriate bayonet adapter, it can be attached to any Canon R, Fuxjilim X, Nikon Z, Sony E or Micro 43 mirrorless camera. The lens covers the entire 35mm format frame with its image, as well as the medium format sensors of Fujifilm cameras with slight vignetting.
