SAMYANG MF 14MM F2.8 MK2 is a manually focused super wide-angle lens for full frame cameras but can also be used on cameras with smaller sensor formats, such as APS-C or Micro Four Thirds. It is popular with both travel, nature and astrophotographers due to its high optical performance.Two new features are Focus Lock and Declick. Now it´s possible to “Lock” the focus which is great for instance when shooting astrophotography and video, and the “Declick” aperture allows fine adjustment without clicking between F-stops. This effectively eliminate any unwanted differences in brightness. The 14mm optical design consists of 14 elements in 10 groups. 3 High Refractive Lenses, 1 Hybrid Aspherical Lens, 1 Aspherical Lens, and 2 Extra-low Distortion lenses.Environmental seals are located at the lens mount area to prevent infiltration of moisture andor rain drops. This feature provides an additional layer of protection when shooting outdoors under harsh weather conditions.
