Vention CAT6 patch cord is used in network applications such as 10Base-T, 100Base-T, 1000Base-T Ethernet, and has been specially designed for Gigabit Ethernet (Gigabit over copper) applications. They provide high data transfer rates and improved performance over standard CAT5E cables.

CAT6 is fully backward compatible with modern CAT5, CAT5E equipment. Vention CAT6 patch cords consist of 4 pairs of 26AWG stranded wires with PVC jackets. The wires are connected to gold plated RJ45 connectors in accordance with the TIA / EIA 568B standard.

The patch cord is made up of twisted copper strands, which gives it flexibility and is great for frequent changes that occur at a wall outlet or patch panel.

Eliminates virtually all extraneous crosstalk and noise.

Performance is estimated at over 250 MHz.
