Colour SkyWatcher Filter Set 1.25''

Comprises 4 x high quality glass colour filters. Yellow, Red, Green & Moon/Neutral Density Filters included. These filters will fit most internally-threaded eyepiece barrels of 1.25''/31.7mm format. Supplied in attractive foam-lined plastic screw top storage case.

Here are descriptions of particular filters:

YELLOW

Particularly useful with Moon observations significantly improves contrast.

RED

This filter proves very useful with Jupiter observations. You can acquire a better-quality image in the polar areas. The filter will bring out the structure of stripes on the surface of this massive planet.

GREEN

This filter weakens the light of the observed objects, which makes the image more precise. It is advised to use this filter for brighter object observations.

MOON filter

Particularly useful with Moon observations , significantly improves contrast.
